- Connects landowners to resources and services that promote forest stewardship and serve the unique needs of underserved populations.
- Oversees staff and contractors to meet program objectives including constituency assessment, plan development, technical assistance, and community education and outreach.
- Leads an internship program that develops early career foresters and supervise interns.
Northern Arizona University’s Center for Adaptable Western Landscapes is hiring Field Technicians and Crew Leaders
- Works on implementing “rapid plot” monitoring in areas within the Four Forest Restoration Initiative.
- Collects data that will track changes in forests, watersheds, and wildlife habitat that results from forest restoration management such as mechanical thinning treatments.
National Forest Foundation is hiring a Northern Arizona Forestry Technician
- Provides on-the-ground oversight for forest restoration efforts to be implemented through various methods including traditional ground-based logging, hand thinning, and mastication systems.
