Student Success Team

The Student Success Team is a collaborative group within the Northern Arizona University School of Forestry dedicated to supporting the holistic development and academic achievement of students. Comprising of the Manager of Academic Success, Student Development and Support Coordinator, Inclusivity and Recruitment Manager, Academic Advisor, and Community Program Coordinator, this team works together to identify and address the diverse needs of students, providing tailored interventions, resources, and guidance to foster their personal, social, and academic growth. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, the Student Success Team aims to empower students to overcome challenges, maximize their potential, and thrive academically and personally.


2 + 2 Programs

NAU’s School of Forestry is proud to partner with Coconino Community College, San Carlos Apache College, and Yavapai College to offer the first 2+2 programs for NAU’s new, online Applied Wildland Fire Science (BS) degree! Start at one of these community colleges to maximize your time and money, earn an Associate degree, and then transfer seamlessly to NAU to complete your online AWFS degree.
